Accused gets bail in money-laundering case after court calls ED's arrest illegal
Deepak Deshmukh is the son of the Shri Chhatrapati Shivaji Education Society director Appasaheb Deshmukh. According to ED officials, the education society allegedly collected between Rs 30 lakh and Rs 40 lakh from multiple students between 2011 and 2016, promising admissions that never materialised.
