British-Indian gets life in jail 30 years after stabbing sex worker 140 times
Sandip Patel, 51, of Indian descent, received a life sentence in London on February 15 for Marina Koppel's 1994 murder. Patel emerged as a suspect only in 2022, 28 years post the crime, when his DNA matched a hair on Koppel's ring.
