Devshayani Ekadashi 2024: Date, time and significance
Devshayani Ekadashi, also called Ashadi Ekadashi, happens on the 11th day of the bright half of the Hindu lunar month of Ashadha. People believe that on this day, Lord Vishnu goes into a deep sleep called Yog Nidra for four months. Because of this, no important or holy tasks are done during this time. This year, Devshayani Ekadashi will be observed on 17th July 2024.
