Erdogan sees 'turning point' for Turkey after poll drubbing
Turkey was at a "turning point" Monday, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said after the opposition fighting his two-decade rule swept municipal elections in Istanbul, the country's emblematic megapolis, and other major cities.Erdogan, who came to power as prime minister in 2003 before becoming president in 2014, said in early March that these municipal elections would be his last.
