US elections 2024: Supporters overcome with emotion as Kamala Harris conceded defeat
At Howard University in Washington, Vice President Kamala Harris delivered her concession speech for the 2024 presidential election on Wednesday. Many supporters, a large number of whom were women of color, were seen holding up cellphones, seemingly recording the event.When Harris took the stage at her alma mater, she was met with a crowd holding American flags. Supporters appeared somber, some shedding tears, while others raised their fists in solidarity as Harris announced her loss against Trump.
