Ashok Chavan, the two-time Maharashtra chief minister, quit the Congress. There's a buzz that he will be given a Rajya Sabha seat by the BJP. Chavan, however, comes with the taint of the Adarsh scam, something the Congress said needed the 'washing machine'.
