Carnatic singers protest against award for TM Krishna, withdraw from conference
Recently, TM Krishna won the Sangita Kalanidhi by the Music Academy. Carnatic vocalists Ranjani, Gayatri, Harikatha exponent Dushyanth Sridhar withdrew from Music Academy conference this year because of Krishna's participation.
