Court seeks Centre's response on plea alleging overuse of pesticides in food
A bench led by Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud issued notices to two union ministries and FSSAI and others while seeking their replies to a plea claiming overuse of pesticides and other chemicals on crops and food items is resulting in deaths across the country.
