Curing cancer: An Indian scientist's quest to find the antidote
An indigenous treatment, which reprograms a patient's immune system to fight cancer, was recently approved for commercial use. It was an Indian researcher and her team, who modified the Chimeric Antigen Receptor (CAR) T-cell, to give it an Indian touch and find a possible cure.
