Jaishankar Slams Nehru For Mishandling Kashmir, China
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar criticised India’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru for mishandling the Kashmir issue and China in the 1940s and 1950s. Jaishankar made these remarks during a speech at the IC Centre For Governance honouring Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the country’s first home minister.
