Pending cases in Supreme Court near all-time high of 83,000
According to the National Judicial Data Grid (NJDG), there are 82,989 cases pending in the Supreme Court, an all-time high. The top court also managed to dispose of 37,259 cases, achieving a disposal rate of nearly 94.92%.
