US to deport Indian student as Reddit exposes his fake father's death story
A Reddit post exposed a 19-year-old Indian student, Aryan Anand, who submitted a fraudulent application, claiming the death of his father, to secure admission and a scholarship at Lehigh University in Pennsylvania. Anand pleaded guilty to forgery and agreed to return to India as part of a plea deal.
