Why Uniform Civil Code wasn't made enforceable by framers of Constitution
Uttarakhand has become the first state to draft rules for a Uniform Civil Code. The Uniform Civil Code or UCC was put in the Directive Principles by the framers of our Constitution. Why didn't they make it a law?
