1038 forest fires reported this summer in Himachal Pradesh, 38 cases registered
The first department of Himachal Pradesh has deployed over 3,000 local field officers across the state to deal with forest fires. The state's Principal Chief Conservator of Forestshas attributed the forest fire incidents to a rise in temperature due to heatwave conditions prevailing in the state.
